Liz Pfeifer

Liz commenced work with Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia at the National Centre at Kangaroo Ground in 2002.  During her nearly six years at the National Centre, she provided administrative support for the Personnel team, Finance team, Victoria Regional Office, Training coordinator, and also the Wycliffe Australia Board. In March 2008 she travelled to the Philippines for a 12-month field assignment with SIL. Her first few months were spent providing administrative support for a Bible translator in central Philippines. She spent the remainder of her time based in Manila, providing computer training and support for both westerners and Filipinos serving with SIL and partner organisations. She returned to Australia in March 2009 to upgrade her computer skills and complete Microsoft certifications. Liz plans to return to the Philippines in September 2009, complete 1-2 months of Tagalog language learning (adding to what she has already learnt), and return to her computer training and support role with SIL Philippines.
