Paul & Debbie Howells

(Jubab)

Paul and Debbie have served with New Tribes Mission in the Philippines since 1987. They began church planting among the Dulangan Higaunon tribe and have since relocated to Lapoc among the Tala-Andig tribe. Their primary work is taking the Gospel to the Dulangan Higaunon and Tala-Andig peoples, to translate God’s Word into their languages, and to disciple them to maturity to reach their own people as well as neighbouring tribes. They have also worked extensively in community development that has allowed the Dulangan Higaunon church to financially support three families to work among the Tala-Andig people with Paul and Debbie. Since 2001, the Tala-Andig church has commenced working in 12 outreaches in other villages and in six schools – a total of 18 outreaches. The team has been expanded with two new missionary families to share the work. The Lapoc church is also sending out missionaries to the outreaches that are a long distance away. The new Lapoc church building will serve as a base for outreach, conferences, seminars, etc.
