Phillip, a national of Papua New Guinea, was converted to Christianity in 1982 under the ministry of visitors from CCW to PNG. Phillip has worked as an evangelist, church-planter and pastor over many years in the highlands of PNG. In 1996, CCW sponsored Phillip to undertake a Bachelor of Theology at CLTC (Christian Leaders’ Training College), Mt Hagen. He completed the degree in Dec 2000. CCW has supported Phillip prayerfully, financially and practically over this time and we have been blessed through partnering with him in this way. In 2004, Phillip began employment at CLTC and is now Dean of Distance Theological Education. CCW has ceased financial support for Phillip, but we still share a strong bond of fellowship in the Gospel and encourage prayer for him and his family in this important role.
